- Release of SysInfo version 4.2, which enhances one more time the version 4.x series of this system tool for Palm OS based PDAs.
- Pascal37, on his brand new web site, http://izibasic.aldweb.com/pascal37/, has released his first application, µnav, a beautiful one made to calculate an ULM journey.
The iziBasic source code of µnav is even made available.
- Once again, Apdi2003 very cordially translated in French the user manual of the latest iziBasic version
French speaking iziBasic users, do not hesitate to download it immediately!
- On a very good idea which was submitted to me by a fan user of Speedy, I created a new page which shows the results included in the Speedy's database and which, by this way, is THE benchmark of the relative speed of the Palm OS based devices.
- Release of Speedy version 5.2, the benchmark tool for Palm devices, with the reference values for the brand new palmOne LifeDrive (and, one more time, thank you Jérôme)
- Release of iziBasic version 5.2, the Basic compiler which lets you develop applications directly in your Palm device. I took this opportunity to update its page with a more "marketing" presentation. I hope that you will like it!
- A few links were updated in the Links Pocket Computer page, among which the one of the fantastic PockEmul emulator, which does a great come back with a new version bringing lots of real progresses.
- Release of Speedy version 5.1, my freeware benchmark software, the reference tool for the Palm OS platform and one of the most widely used Palm software.
- Release of SysInfo version 4.0. The big improvement in this major release concerns the Device utility which I enhanced with 2 new functions (usage statistics and stylus calibration).
- One more time, Apdi2003 was kind enough to update the French version of the iziBasic user manual. Let's thank him very much!
- Release of version 5.1 of iziBasic, which is a minor update release, correcting a few "sharp" bugs and upgrading a few functions and the browsing in the user manual.
- I had not updated my Top 20 Freeware page since 2 years! And this even though, since then I switched from Windows 98 to Windows XP, I changed my habits, new software of great quality appeared... 7 freeware out of the 20 were changed.
- I added a link to the very good site SharpCalc Pocket Computer Resources of Edgar Pühringer in my Pocket Computer Links page (this link was badly missing when I have been in touch with Edgar since a few years now!). It is really a personal happyness for me to see that a few of us remain fascinated by these old pocket computers of the 1980's
