Here below is the table of results returned by Speedy, my award freeware benchmark application for Palm OS devices. Speedy performs three resource taking routines (Calculation, Memory and Graphics) to measure the real speed of PalmOS based devices.
Notes:
All times are given in seconds.
the devices equiped with a DragonBall family processor are in Blue, those having a new generation ARM processor are in Red.
[P] stands for Portrait screen mode and [L] for Landscape screen mode
[f+] means that the benchmark was run using maximum processor overclocking (using Lightspeed)
Were also added in Brown the benchmarks made with Speedy under the StyleTap platform (StyleTap is a Palm OS emulator for devices equipped with a Windows Mobile OS). Then, [WM] next to the brand name of the device means Windows Mobile, [66%] or [100%] next to the device model means that Speedy was run in the original Palm 160x160 pixels screen resolution (with no screen distortion) or in full screen mode (width of 240 pixels, so with a 3/2 distortion factor)
