Soon I will be updating a previous version of a program I wrote in another language to iziBasic. I would like to have it work with data from another of my iziBasic Apps.

Is this a proper use of $ RUNc|t1[, c|t2]
RUN "Name of program",%var$
Is this a proper use of RUN$
%N$=RUN$

Do these only work with iziBasic programs?
Or could I open a non-iziBasic program and pass a variable to it as well?

 I finished my update and every thing went great. Being able to pass a variable and open another app. really makes my programs versatile.

 And version 7.0 will introduce a new RUN$$ reserved word, for even higher customization of transfering parameters from one application to another one...
