Hello Gary,
Yes, there are limitations of code segments sizes, as explained in the MINOSVERSION compiling directive. The CHAIN statement allows to develop several code segments and to jump from one to another, therefore extending the whole coding to huge values.
Compilation should warn you when you reach the limit size of a code segment, iziBasic should not hang requiring a soft-reset.
Would you mind sending me your source code by e-mail, so that I can check if I can reproduce the issue you face? (of course, I guarantee full confidentility of your source code, I will delete it from my PC after all tests are done, and I will look in it only for the purpose of my checks)
