Hello,

I was wondering if the izibasic program can recognize input specifically from the Symbol Technologies "CSM 150" product? It is an add on module for the Handspring Visor which reads bar codes. If I write a program using izibasic and then use the Visor to scan something, will izibasic see the input and work with it to store it into my variables? Has any one sucessfully used a bar code reader to work with the running of an izibasic program?

 Hello Rob,

I guess that accessing this add-on module requires some specific API calls to read the scaneed bar codes. The API calls should be provided in a specific developer's SDK. I hope that you can still find some information somewhere on the web!

Once you succeed to find the SDK, and to interface with these API, you will need to use some so-called "PP applets" together with iziBasic's main code. Please give a look to the "PP applets" chapter in the iziBasic user manual.
