izibasic ported to itouch and iphone |

This is just yet another idea of mine, because I come up with millions. I love palms. I don't know what I'd do without my palm. But the company has poor customer service, and the products generally don't last, and the company is going down anyways. That leaves us with pocket pcs, which according to my dad absolutely suck. So where will the future of PDA's go? I'd say it's the itouch that will take over. It's absolutely the greatest handheld device ever, and soon it will be opened to developers, making it the best PDA ever. Will izibasic be ported? It will take some work, but eventually I'll convince my dad to let me get one, (it's the price and unrestricted internet he's worried about :( ) but I don't want one without izibasic. I love developing apps, and I love using izibasic to do it. So will it be ported when the iphone and itouch are opened? |

Hello Nate,
iziBasic was developped with the idea of being optimized for Palm devices. So, it has not been designed to be easily portable to other platforms.
Then, unless Apple's devices really get to the point that I would switch from my Palm devices to one of theirs, there is little hope that I plan to port iziBasic to the iTouch or the iPhone.

Ok, thanks for the reply! But I do think it would be profitable... I have no doubt in my mind that when they are opened, the itouch and iphone will easily become the best portable device of any kind ever, but I also believe that not many compilers and whatnot will be made for them, at least not any time soon, so if you could get izibasic on it really soon when it's opened, I think you could get really popular :D. I agree 100% XD
I just started using Izibasic and Vizibasic, and I already love em' both! I used to use a Computer program called Blistzmax, I really liked it. Now my bro has found one for palm basically. AWSOME! I really want to buy it, but it will take some convincing...I already have a "Business" name. =P
