Here are the requirements as written in Palm's documentation: A Creator ID consists of four ASCII characters. Generally, alphanumerics are chosen, but this is not a requirement. For viewability, characters are limited to ASCII 33-127 (decimal).
What is not a requirement with PalmSource became one with iziBasic. Because, to ease my job and also to keep the source code as small as possible, the CreatorID check procedure is shared with some other functions which have more restrictive requirements in terms of allowed characters. And you are the first one to ask to extend to the other few missing characters.
Right now, you can select another CreatorID...
