I've uploaded 2 simple date-conversion subroutines to the Samples section of the iziBasic wiki.

These convert from iziBasic's European date format (YYYYMMDD) to American date format (MMDDYYYY).

Public domain, so use them as you like.

Hello Dave,

This is a nice and quick "native" iziBasic source code.

bh77a also provided some time ago a PP applet here to deal with date conversions, together with other functions to deal with dates.

Would it really be required to enhance iziBasic natives functions to deal with such date format conversions and calculations?

Cheers,

Required? I don't think so, especially now that there are published workarounds.

Nice to have? Certainly, but we'd have to put that wish on the list with the others, and I think there are others that are a better bang for the buck.

Thanks.
