Hello,

I have just purchased a CLIE TH55/U and while waiting for it to arrive wanted to check to see if anyone uses iziBasic on a CLIE? If so, are there any issues, other than the one listed here in regards to the Sony API for hi-res

 Hello Brian,

Did you try the HIGHRES() function or the SETRES statement in this device? If I remember well, they would work very well in my old Clié N770C (the very first device to offer 320x320).

 Hi Aldweb,

It showed up Monday afternoon and so far this week, I have been getting a few things installed on it. Right now I am planning to have it replace my other handhelds, including the TX, in day to day use. The only thing that I have lost in going to this from the TX is bluetooth. There were a few European models of the TH55 available, but bluetooth wasn't worth the $100 price difference.

So far, I have installed both viziBasic and iziBasic. Haven't done any compiling yet, but launching them is completely error free :)!

Over the weekend I am planning to get my skeleton code up and running so that I can see how it compiles.

Battery life, btw, is awesome. Timing with BatteryGraph, I used the device for 4h 15m and still had 72% battery left. This was with taking three photographs, sending a few e-mails via wifi and then mostly just tinkering with the built-in apps and installing a few via Memory Stick.
