Hi. Does anybody know if there is a way to create or edit rsrc files in a pc? I would like to work in the basic forms while i'm in my home or in a lunch break, and then polish the code while i'm on the road.

Programing is a hobbie for me, so I would like to work in my pc when I can, because is more practical than in the palm, but keep the files in both pc and palm, to continue code while i'm traveling or when I have some free time on the road.

I was triying with the palm resources editor, but it does not seem be able to open or save files in _rsrc.prc. Is there a program that can do that?

By the way, I read a post saying don't forget to check the backup filed in your resourses. Well, Please don't forget to push the apply button too! I check the field, but I forgot to apply my changes. I had to do a hard reset in my palm and... o surpirse, My .rsrc was nut backuped to pc

Thanks and regards!

Hello Adi,

You have:
1. Pilrc at http://pilrc.sourceforge.net/ which is a script resource compiler
2. piBuilder at http://pibuilder.sourceforge.net/ which is a visual editor for Pilrc

Cheers

I never used it myself, nor did I give it a try since I was very happy with Pilrc in the past before I moved to onboard programming and switched to RsrcEdit, then Bird.

Cheers,

I'm Using PiBuilder And Seems ok... Not a lot of thinks to install and very easy to use. I still have a lot to learn, but it looks preatty good. I think this is gonna be my choice.

Thanks for the Advice.

I can place a vote for Constructor. Use it on my Mac frequently, although not for code resources. Strictly like to use my TX for this, although I have tried out Khertan's iziEditor.
