Thanks so very much for iziBASIC. Wonder!

iziBASIC even uses WordSmith DOC files, but would like to setup WordSmith as the Editor under Options. Any way this can be done without an update. Also have ViziBASIC, but some sections of my code need lengthy routines added after forms et al.

Hello Greg,

Thank you for your nice comment about iziBasic

It's not a surprise that you can also use WordSmith to deal with the DOC source files, as long as WordSmith like many other DOC editors/readers can deal with uncompressed DOC files.
If WordSmith offers a way to get the source file as an entry parameter, it could also be added in iziBasic's options, this is no big work.

ViziBasic is more of a tool to help design forms and basic actions applied to their objects, rather than a tool to build huge and complex projects. Then, use ViziBasic to first elaborate your project's user interface and dig back to the DOC source code editing to develop it.

Cheers

I believe that WordSmith does accept passing a file to it with launch parameters.
