compilation problem |

When I use ViziBasic to compile source code then after a certain point (appr. around line [250]-[350] depending on how much is in each line) ViziBasic suddenly start to misread the memo so it suddenly reads rubbish characters in stead of code - and as a result, of course, gives the "syntax error" statement (I'm using a Treo650 running PalmOS 5.4.8).
Any explanation? Any suggestions?

Try using a Doc format and Not a memo. Even though the newer Palms Dont Have a Limit on the size of Memos, iziBasic Does. With a Doc File, The limit does not exist at all |

You may also send me your project files so that I can try to figure out what's happening. Because ViziBasic is supposed to build only DOC files...

Thing is I only used ViziBasic for designing the GUI - after that I prefer to write the code out manually... Problem with DOC files is that the on-board text editor; "Word-To-Go" insist on putting the extention ".pdb" after the file name, and so iziBasic can't find it. So it's more trouble cos I'd have to rename it using FileZ every time I made a change and would like to test it.
How about those other editors mentioned in the iziBasic Options menu? Where can I get those, and what do they cost?

PIAF (Piaf Is Almost Fozzy?), written by Phillipe Guillot (sp?) and modified by Aldweb for iB is a great editor (I don't own ViziBasic so I can't compare). You can find it at:
