Sorry its been a while life has been crazy.
I am working on 3 Programs...
-A VBS Scripting Style Language for IziBasic
-An Online "Help" Area
-An Antivirus Program
Some of these programs have been in Development for a While, and some work!!!. However I am looking to try something new... A "Behind the Scenes Updater", any Ideas?
I have theories on how to process it on the server, but does anyone know how to do the behind the scenes updates. Mabey some PP Examples |

Well I do not have an ETA. It simply compiles a VBS-like language into Asm that is injected into your IZIBasic Source |

Hi, i ve programmed an antivir for palm os ... but don't release it again because i need to complete some virus definition, do you know where i can found informations on all viruses existing on palm os ? And how to recognize it ?

Hi Khertan,
I am going to explain a bit more as I was cut off earlier...
Earlier in the Palm OS' existence there were a few *virus* that were nothing more than malevolent programs written by less than ethical developers. As of current, there are no known virus that I know of (someone please correct me if I am wrong). Some of the major anti virus providers had at one point had software for the Palm but dropped it due to lack of need.
Now, it is entirely possible to have a file on the SD card that contains a virus, such as a zip file or a MS Word document, that when put onto a computer could cause problems...
Please know that I am now trying to discourage your efforts, just provide information.

In the past there have been 4 knowen Viruses for the Palm.
PalmOS/Phage.963(Palm.Phage.Dropper)
PalmOS/Vapor.741(Palm.Vapor.Trojan)
PalmOS/Liberty Trojan
PalmOS/Parser
Granted these only target Dragonball Processors, I think this is an Eye Opener to the realistic threat of a PalmOS 5 ARM Virus in the Future. |

Like i said on palmattitude.org forums, i ve receive by mail an palm os virus that duplicate in all palm os application by replacing code 1 ressource and renumber old code 1 ressource to code 9999 and then after infecting all application calling the 9999 code id. So application seems to work but are infected. |

Exactly. The Concept still exists. My Program basically "Indexs" The Application and Monitors any Changes that may occur to the application. |

Well, there is not something to be sorry about. People do Stupid things, I still cant understand Why they write them either? Except for one. The PalmOS Phage was written for one purpose, It is refered to as a "proof-of-concept". or Basically someone Dared a person to Write one.
The good news is that this is a hard one to come across. |
