Hi,

Been looking at the samples provided with iziBasic (just registered a few days ago) and noticed that there is currently no dynamic support of the GUI slider object. Did however notice in the "road map" that this is on the to-do list...

While waiting on iziBasic to dynamically create/control them, is it possible to add one to a form with BIRD and then handle its events, similar to how it is handled within PP and the native Palm API?

 Hello bh77a,

Yes, the slider has been on my to do list for some time now... I should think about hurrying up now!

Meanwhile, yes you can create it with Bird and monitor its events with a PP applet, a little bit like Khertan did with the 5-way nav button for instance.

 Hi Aldweb,

Thanks for the information. I will do some work on an applet a little later this week. Do you happen to know of an English posting of Khertan's applet code that I can study... found his site but unfortunately for me my French skills are lacking? :(
