Hi,
I've started playing with my new iziBasic (It's really great), and I have a small question:

My program uses the page up/down buttons, so I used KEYEVENTS PARTIAL and then DOEVENTS to capture the keys.
But the power button doesn't work now when the program is running.
I thought about capturing event -10 (power). but what should I do with it? exit the program?

Is there a way I can make the power on/off button work normally? is there any function I can use?

Hello Eliram,

Capturing the event -10 is for sure the way to go. If you just exit the application (with the END statement) then the device will not power off until the auto off timer is reached.

But there is an easy workaround.
You may very well call a so called "PP applet" (see user manual, CALLPP$ function) to force the device to turn off, with the following API declaration:
Procedure SysSleep(untilReset,emergency:Boolean); inline($4E4F,$A0B2);

Then, you just have to call this API in your PP applet's CallPP function:
SysSleep(false,false);

Cheers,
