Hey, I am back... sorry I did not answer you before, but I was away for a business trip during the last 2 days.
I would like to remind that I always send the updates to all registered users for all my shareware applications (this is my free upgrade policy, service included), using the e-mail address they used when buying the software.
If people never come back to me to tell that they changed their e-mail address... then, in a way, they should not complain to much if they do not receive the updates in the next couple of minutes they request it without even giving me a single clue to find them in my sales records.
Sorry to seem to be not very customer oriented with my writing above. But, I receive plenty of requests from bad people, trying to make me believe they bought the software with fake information. I just cannot update anybody's records without making sure that they are real users, I want to protect my honest customers!
Cheers,
@+ aldweb |

my apologies, unfortunatly, my main computer died and all my email from about the 3rd-4th week of october until november 28 was deleted because i recieved over 2000 email, only glanced over it (i am on several high volume mailing lists) and deleted it because going msg by msg wasnt realistic, the two email address's i would have most likely used are in the email i sent to the webmaster address, tomorrow i will be hooking up my old router (it had a backup of all my previous email) and will be able to find out the exact email adress i used for registration.
thank you,
sloopy.
