active  Topic # 1310  Palm TX locks with Neko Cat & IbChristmas ?

03/12/2005 @ 17:09

I just got a new Palm TX.

Neko Cat and IbChristmas seem to play but have both locked up the unit when I try to exit the app and return home.

Is there anything about the Palm OS version on the Palm TX that is a problem for iziBasic, ViziiBasic and applications created by these two programs?

thanks for any comments.

Well Before you blame it on Izibasic... Tell us what other apps you are running that could conflict with the app

Great... I just tried those apps on my T|X. I have had no issues on them so I am sure it was a conflicting app

In the United States we have an expression... "I got your Back". Sometimes you need to drill down deep to find the root cause of an error. It can be as simple as a syntax issue or as complex as IziBasics Integrated Runtime. The most likely causes of issues are "syntax errors" but an application can also have issues if there is a conflicting application running in the Background...(i.e. Hacks, Tweaks, mp3 Players, etc)
Sometimes it is too easy to blame the target application but You need to look deeper

Hey Guys... for the record I wasn't blaming iziBasic... only reporting what happened to me... For all I knew it could have been a Palm TX problem... after all I'm a newbie.

Anyway, I jumped; in and reported it was now working fine as soon as I discovered it.

I'm still in the discovery mode :)

thanks for all the help from everyone!

I am sorry if That sounded harsh. But that was not aimed at anyone. I have had a hard day at work and I was blaimed for a mainframe error. (Needless to say it was user-error on someone elses part). I hope you enjoy your useage on iziBasic and you know where you can go for help.
