Hello enotar,
I agree with your analysis. Some program must interfere somehow... But, I don't have any single idea of why and how! Indeed, ViziBasic assumes that it starts with the right front and back-colors, that are automatically initialized by Palm OS for each application when it starts. I could add a few instructions to set them explicitely in ViziBasic, to make sure. Then, I can send you this version of ViziBasic to try... and you tell me if it works. Is that OK with you?
In the meantime, on your side: 1. check if you don't use any hack (with YAHM), DA, PalmRevolt or SkinUI that could interfere with ViziBasic 2. after a soft reset, if you could take the time to write down each single application you launch until you use ViziBasic and face the problem again (or not... then we could reasonably eliminate the previously launched applications from the warning list) Doing so should help understanding the issue.
Cheers, aldweb
