Use of user defined fonts differs from the manual |

When using my own font in the GUI within an iziBasic program, I find I have to number it as 128 or 129 in order for iziBasic to recognise it and use it on the display.
The manual clearly states that these numbers are reserved for the console fonts and user fonts should be numbered 130 or 131 yet when I use these numbers, the font isn't recognised and the display is rendered in the standard font.
I'm obviously doing something wrong but I can't figure out what... |

Just a guess.... Did you open up the Resource editor (RSRC Edit/BIRD) and add the font to it? Did you include the Resource in the .ibas source code? Did you use the Resource Editor to rename the font File to 128 or 129?
If this does not help Mabey Aldweb can help more |

Yes.

Yes

I had to - it didn't work as 130 or 131...despite what the manual says, hence the original point. It doesn't seem to work as described. |

1. Is your font a high res one?
2. If I understand well, when copying it to resource ID 128 or 129, it displays fine?
3. Would you mind to send me your project files, or at least a resource file with the given font and a quick script (something like BEGIN / SETFONT yourFontID / LABEL "Mike is right" / END) that would help me fix the bug if the error is on mly side?

Yes, it's a small font to allow me to get more text on the screen.

Yes. I am using it with an ID of 129 at the minute though I have used 128 instead. It is just 130 and 131 (of those permitted) that I cannot seem to use.

Hello,
Thank you Mike for sending me your project files.
Indeed, there was a bug in the SETFONT statement which will be fixed in the (I hope...) soon to be released version 6.0 of iziBasic.
By the way, nice font Mike!
