Topic # 1234	String to Long
21/07/2005 @ 15:06 by Watts	I am trying to write a series of strings to a data file and then open it and write that those strings to the console in the same order I wrote them to the file. A single string is to long so I have broken them up and sumed them together and used the print statement to write them to the file. I dont get the string to long error but after I open the file and tell it to write to the console it only writes part of the string. I am confident that problem is in writing to the file because if I simply print the string to the console without writiing and reading from the file it displays the same string with the exact information missing. How can I write a large string to a file?

But, you maybe want to use the so called "MegaString" (which is a string of up to 4096 characters!) which is dedicated to this purpose... Cheers, aldweb
