lock on events? |

I've been exploring a program to keep my toddler from messing up my wife's palm. So far, every language has been unable to intercept a few events, while intercepting most of them.
so the program works okay in a few languages, but I would like to make it better.
Is there a way to intercept "center button on/time display", to intercept the t3 "time display" on the control bar, and to intercept the silkscreen "time display" and "brightness" on the tungsten|e?
I apologize if this is in the documentation, I haven't found it yet :) |

Christof,
Give a look to Khertan's web site, http://www.khertan.net/ He wrote a quick "PP applet" source code to access events to managed by iziBasic in standard (T3/T5 5-way nav in his case).
Cheers

fortunately, in the specific case i am developing for, I don't want any events processed outside of the application, and in previous attempts in some other onboard languages, I could not do this.
Generally, it seems that it is because many os5 devices call the brightness and time display functions in such a manner that you 'leave' your code and can then utilise the home or other buttons.
This is obviously not good for a protected children's application where you don't want your toddler erasing your task list!
So, izibasic works properly once again! |

You can do that easily ... with a small pp applet that catch all event and dont pass sys event to the palmos but to your application ... |
