Hi all !

I've been using other BASIC dialects and I'm little confused about variables' syntax...

Why izibasic doesn't allow me to use numerical variables like "aseg1", "aseg2" and so on ?

Is a numerical variable name supposed to be only one character long ?

Is there any guide to the exact syntax of izibasic (with examples) ?

I think this is a GREAT tool but I'm confused at this point...

Thanks in advance !

Hello Joaquim,

As from version 5 of iziBasic (to be released in a few weeks), you will be able to use variables with more than one character. But, for now, in version 4, you indeed have to use one letter variables only.

The user manual (which I believe to be quite complete with its 94 pages) and the sample source codes (which I believe to be numerous and varied enough) shipped with iziBasic are, as from my knowledge, the only guides currently available.

Cheers
