If you were to create two different forms in a rsrc editor, each with its own buttons etc..., how would you show or switch between them in izibasic?

I don't think you can. IziBasic seems to work by generating its own form on which the controls and so on defined in the code are placed.

I don't believe there is any facility for handling multiple forms (in the PalmOS sense) defined internally or externally.

Indeed, you cannot for the time being.

But I was thinking about implementing something like OPENFORM and CLOSEFORM.
But, I will have to check very carefully to avoid incompatibilities...

The natural way in iziBasic to implement multiple forms is like I did in the NekoCat sample program (which has a main form where the cat plays, and an options form).
Then, it is a question of playing with the SHOW, HIDE and, but to be avoided as much as possible, DESTROY.

Cheers

Show and Hide are the commands I was using internally but I wanted to design the forms externally. I'll just keep playing... maybe you will get that open form command implemented later... if you have time, of course.
