I am becoming a heavy user of 
ListChoice
itmes but have one request.

Using these controls, 
SelectedChoice
is nice and returns a number which I store away in the DB file associated with my application.

On retrievel of the DB record however, I cannot use this number directly to reset the control to the previous value. Rather, I have to decode the numerical value and then use the 
UpdateText
command to individually set each value. This means each possible string value ends up in the code twice.

What I would like is effectively an extension to the new 
UpdateValue
command allowing me to pass my stored number back into the appropriate control.

 Mike,

Did you, by any chance, give a try to UpdateValue on a ListChoice object?

It might work... as I might just as well be too tired tonight and being writing something very stupid!

But, it is a good request. I will see what I can do.
