Hello Daniel,

The iBAddress sample program gives a clue about the answer.

ShowRecord:
'Top field #2 set last to get focus
UPDATEFIELD #4,B$
UPDATEFIELD #6,C$
UPDATEFIELD #8,D$
UPDATETEXT #10,E$
UPDATEFIELD #13,F$
J$=STR$(I,0)+"/"+STR$(K,0)
UPDATELABEL #17,J$
'Top field #2 set last to get focus
UPDATEFIELD #2,A$
RETURN

It is even the only comment I inserted in the sample programs!

Indeed, the focus is always set to the last field, either created or updated.
Would you wish to force the focus to one field, here is way to do it (I assume in this sample code that the field was already created):

B$=FIELD$(#4) : UPDATEFIELD #4,B$

This preserves the value currently stored in the field.

Cheers,

Hello!
I had the same problem with IconManager. For the hi-res resources to be recognized by Palm OS (as it is out of the box - there are workarounds, of course) they have to be uncompressed! Not a big deal for bitmaps of 22*18 anyway.
So, open your icon library in IconMgr, select Menu->Misc->Compression and press the "Uncompress all icons", or so, button.
Everything should work fine now!

IconMgr is a really great app! I'm wondering if the author can update it to allow custom dimension bitmaps
