Should Graphic Calculators be included in the museum? They can be programmed in BASIC too. |

Of course:They can fit in your "pocket" like other PC-****, they can draw graphics, programmed in BASIC, I think I don't need to find any more excuses :)
BTW are you thinking of a Texas Instruments's Ti-83 Graphics computer. If so, then I have one. I wish my PC-E500 could have that big LCD. |

I have a TI85, which IMO is better as a calculator than later models, like the TI89. They have become far too complicated to use, with menus instead of shortcut keys for various operations. I like the big LCD too :) |

Yes, also, some can be programmed in machine code, I've even heard of software that can be downloade on some models, with a version of CP/M OS. |

My TI-83 has a hole @ the bottom of it. I don't have the original manual, but based on what I have found on the net, I know that it can be used for data(programs) transfer. Hey, and its graphics are faster than on Sharp's PCs!!!
Optimization? Faster proccessor?...whatever,
but still, the programming isn't in BASIC, but it is simple(=basic), because of its "command [exp.1,exp.2]" system. It frustrates that it doesn't understand written-in programs. It needs command entry from database:(
...but tell me, anyone, if it is possible to combine PCs programmability & TIs fastness, LCDscreen in order to make a better computer???Help needed!!! |

Try looking up "TI Voyage". It's the newest graphic calculator from TI. I think it might be your dream come true :) |
