How do you stop the handheld from stopping a program after 3 minutes.

I wrote a timer program that counts down to zero, but if I set it to count down to zero from ten minutes the palm shuts down after 3 Min's and stops the programs execution before it can end properly.

Is there a way to let the screen black out, but leave the program running until if finishes?

 Hello Gary,

Good news.

I have written a few tutorials for PP, to get started. Then, to learn how to use the Palm API calls, you will have to download the Palm OS SDK (at Access' web site), read the Palm OS Reference PDF file (the only must have) and, sometimes, dig into the C header files provided in the SDK.

I don't even know the real difference between Build and Make, I have always been confused with it... so I only use Build...
