Well, yes.

First approach is to 'merge' programs (so that line numbers DO NOT override. For example:

Prog.1 :

10 "A" INPUT "Your age:";A
20 PRINT "Your age is "+STR$ A
30 END
Prog.2 :

100 "B" INPUT "Cm: ";A
110 C=A*100/3+5.4
120 PRINT C
130 END

If you have both these programs in memory you can start Prog 1 by pressing DEF A and prog 2 by pressing DEF B

Another way to do it is to modify BASIC Start and End pointers each time you want to use a program. Anyway, you have 1401 which has only 3534 (or something like that) bytes of memory.

I personaly find the first approach better and easier to acomplish.

Hope this helps.

Bye,
Saso

Saso,

Does the PC-1401 have the POKE command?
If not, then only the common 'merging' way is possible. Anybody, everybody uses this one

Yes, PC-1401/02 have POKE, PEEK, CALL commands. They are not documented in official user's manual.
