You are right destroyedlolo, the assembly language of these Sharp devices is not that simple and not much featured.
This is where the fun starts according to me!
And I always think of these brilliant Japanese engineers who could build such a great user interface and such a powerful Basic interpreter in these small devices
But maybe our friend will start with a basic (no play on words!) integer compiler.
I, myself, built some 12 or 13 years ago a full onboard MacroAssembler (all written in Basic!) which would automate a lot of things for me, by the use of special mnemonics. It required me to use my 2x32KB bytes memory cards in my PC-1360. But writing a ML subprogram had become an easy and speedy thing. I had even started to write a minimalistic Operating System with this MacroAssembler! 12-13 years... these were the good old days
